Q: What is the University Monthly Stipend Support Programme?
A: The University Monthly Stipend Support Programme provides monthly financial assistance to eligible students experiencing genuine hardship while pursuing their studies.
Q: Is the stipend programme a scholarship?
A: No. The stipend programme is not a full scholarship. It provides monthly financial support for a specified period and does not cover tuition fees in full.
Q: How long does the stipend programme last?
A: The duration is specified in each advertisement. For example, the Inaugural University Monthly Stipend Award ran for six months (January–June 2026). Future programmes may have different durations.
Q: Does receiving a stipend guarantee support until graduation?
A: No. Stipend awards are time-limited and only run for the period stated in the programme advertisement. Support automatically ends when the advertised programme period expires unless a new award is announced and the student is selected again.
Q: Can a stipend recipient apply for future stipend programmes?
A: Yes. Previous recipients may apply for future opportunities where permitted by the programme rules. Selection is not guaranteed and will depend on eligibility, funding availability, and programme requirements.
Q: Who can apply?
A: Eligibility is stated in each advertisement. Priority is generally given to students living with disabilities, orphans, widows' children, and students facing significant hardship or extenuating circumstances.
Q: Is there an application fee?
A: No. Applications are completely free. The Foundation never charges application fees, interview fees, verification fees, or processing fees.
Q: How do I apply?
A: Applicants must follow the instructions provided in the official advertisement. Applications submitted outside the advertised process may not be considered.
Q: Will I be interviewed?
A: Yes, shortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview or verification process before a final decision is made.
Q: How are successful applicants selected?
A: Applications are assessed based on eligibility, personal circumstances, evidence of hardship, programme criteria, available funding, and verification outcomes.
Q: What verification checks are carried out?
A: The Foundation may verify identity, student status, disability status, orphanhood claims, academic enrolment, and other information provided in an application.
Q: How much is the monthly stipend?
A: Stipend amounts vary depending on the programme and the applicant's circumstances. The award amount will be communicated to successful applicants.
Q: How are stipend payments made?
A: Payments are made directly to successful beneficiaries using the verified payment details they provide.
Q: What happens if I provide false information?
A: Any applicant found to have submitted false, misleading, or fraudulent information may have their application rejected, award withdrawn, and future applications disqualified.
Q: Can the Foundation stop stipend payments?
A: Yes. Payments may be suspended or withdrawn if verification concerns arise, programme conditions are breached, false information is discovered, or the beneficiary no longer meets eligibility requirements.
Q: How will I know if I have been successful?
A: Successful applicants will be contacted using the contact information provided in their application. Results may also be published through official Foundation channels.
Q: Where can I get updates about future stipend opportunities?
A: Updates are published on the Foundation's official website and official Facebook page. Applicants should regularly monitor these channels.
